Texan... hm... he should keep you away from Revolvers, Winchesters, hats and horses... Did you say something about Texas being stereotypical? And going back to the actual topic of the thread, I remember how I struggled through Lucifer in Painkiller. Had to kill 66 people first to get 10 seconds or so to hurt him a bit... And the only way to do that was to deflect meteors that he threw at you. Annoying as fuck. And something that I never had patience for... SHAO KAHN in old Mortal Kombat. Maybe I'm handicapped, but beating that guy on easy was just impossible. He was the cheapest boss ever. Pulling green fireballs out of his ass, can't uppercut him, fast as hell... So yeah, I never beat Shao Kahn. I enjoyed beating that Vezir dude in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. That was a very well designed boss fight.

Shadow of the Colossus. Just Shadow of the Colossus. This game wasn't just epic. It beat you senseless with the epic stick.

I didn't until about my third play through.
My first one was filled with "Gotta save my gal! Kill these giant furry walking rocks!"
But by the third I'm like "why am I killing these things? They didn't do anything wrong, and my girlfriend might not even come back to life and they died for no reason"
Other things about that game, you don't even know if she's you're girlfriend, she could be your sister, best friend, someone you knew, a total stranger that you decided to help. God that game was incredible...I cried at the ending too =[
But, no matter what play through I was on, (I think I beat that game 12 times) I always tried to escape the tentacles, sadly, there was no escape.

I remember the initial reaction with every Collossus... "How the fuck am I supposed to hurt it?".
The one with the sword... I remember how I tried to jump from one of his hands to the other, and then he broke his armor by accident when he hit that big metal thing in the middle...
