Alright, So, This is my questioning, Reasoning, Suggestions topic, With some "What the fucks?" thrown in.

Alright my first statement/wtf/whatever.
Steyr Aug at a local gun store, Semi Automatic, Front Grip, 30 Rd Mag.
2500$

That's like 4 of my paychecks, If I saved for less than two months I could have that.
Honestly, Even if it is semi, Wouldn't that make you like, The coolest kid on the block?

Desert Eagle, 1200$, 50AE Ammo, Ridiculous.

Seriously, To buy enough desert eagle ammo to shoot once every weekend for less than a year, You could buy another desert eagle.

P90, 2000$, 1750$ used.

Once again, Ridiculous ammo prices, Hell, I can only find the bullets in two or three gun stores.

For me to talk about the Bushmaster 50. I saw yesterday, It would need an entire new topic for me to rant about the ammo prices.

Now we move on to more reasonable.

7.62mm/308.
10$ for 20 Bullets, That's 50 cents a bullet, You used to be able to buy it for like 5 cents a bullet, and for 100$ you could buy enough ammo to shoot all year.
Now, 100$ gives me enough ammo to shoot for maybe, Two visits.

22. LR
Yes, its ridiculous, 11$ could buy me 550 fucking shells, Now they bumped it up to 20$.
They practically double the price, Fucking bullshit.

5.56mm/223.
See 7.62mm/308.

9mm
I never really had to buy alot of these, When my father died he had two ammo boxes FULL of 9mm ammo, So, I cant really rant about the price that I never had to pay.

45.
Expensive as hell, The only reason I never bought a Thompson, Ammo is ridiculous for it.

MININUKES.
HARD AS HELL TO FIND, Im sorry, Just had to have comedic relief in here some where.

44. Magnum, 357. Magnum.
Once again, 20$/50 bullets, Pissing me off.

Of Course I have invested in a reloading tool, But I only have a 223. Set, a 308. Set, and I have a reloading tool specially for 12 Gauge, But I'm having trouble finding massive amount of pellets to put in the shells, So Ive resorted to making custom shells, Be it, Chunks of wood, Pieces of aluminum, Iron filings, or even, Hacky Sack beads, Making me have to clean my shotgun constantly.

So I end my rant, And we have a convenient topic to discuss guns in.

According to the right wing gun crowd at my nearest range/gun store, Obama's curtailing ammunition production as much as he can clandestinely to get people broke enough to support another nationwide assault weapon ban. I lol'd.

Then again, you have to think about production cost versus profit of sale. Weapons like the AUG & FN P90 are going to be ridiculously expensive to manufacture, so no shit they're expensive. I agree that ammo prices are ludicrous, but so are cigarettes. Niceties are expensive, sadly.

G36, There's no civilian version that I know of, However the SL8/9 is pretty close.

I'm thinking that the 5.7 round would be expensive because of what it does to body armor. Just my opinion, I'm just a faggot who's never fired a gun before.

Any specialty non-common rounds are always expensive.
