I'm buying parts for a new computer and I have some questions:
1. Do I need to buy a sound card or is one built into the motherboard?
2. Should I buy a new case or could I just use an old shitty one?
- I realized how things fit in there matters, but I don't know how each part would go and yeah..Idk.
3. Are fans generally provided with the case?
More to come as I need more answers.
Thanks in advance.

You don't need a sound card, you don't need a new case unless you need the space, and I think most cases nowadays come with some fairly nice fans. If they don't, then get some Iceberg fans.

Well besides the Keyboard and Mouse...
You forgot your power supply buddy.
Also suggested that you buy 1 or 2 more fans, because standard fans arent that great, and fans are cheap.
DVD drive is very useful too, expecially when u get burners for both CD and DVD drives.

Whoops, forgot to mention the power supply. Got one...I don't know if my busget has room for extra fans/drives...I'm barely scraping by with what I have now. Also, I realize I didn't get a mouse or keyboard, I plan on just using some old ones around my house, same with a moniter.

I'm jealous. I'd get a new monitor in the near future if I were you.
