Not really a nightmare but a strange dream.

A while back I had a dream I was dancing with someone in white clothing on some kid of spinning platform. But every time I blinked, the person I was dancing with gender kept changing.

I got a kiss from he/she and I woke up perplexed.

I had a dream I was in a Jewish death camp, & when they were taking me to the gas chamber, I went for the Natzi's pistol, shot him in the head, took his lemon drops, & walked out.

I remember after playing Quake 2 for countless hours on my Pentium 133 Mhz with a 2 Mb graphic card, I dreamed that one of the monstrous Strogg walked into my kitchen. I quickly grabbed a piece of paper, and wrote "god" on it to bless myself with invulnerability. I don't remember the rest.

Some say you just "dont remember the dream", but I say I didn't dream at all. But how can you even be sure of that? You can't.

Dreams occur when you enter REM. Sleep causes the body to go unconcious, temporarily blind, and reduces hearing capabilities by 60%. The mind goes into deep, unrestricted thought, with no cotnrol over the dreams, making them random and odd usually. Dreams only occur about once every 2 hours, and only last between 5-15 minutes. Every 2 or so hours, you have a new dream, and you forget the previous one. This is why it seems like you only sleep for a few minutes when you really do for like 8 hours. Since dreams only occur every 2 or so hours and last about 10 minutes, if you dream from 7:00-7:10, go uncious until 8:30, and then wake up, it is very difficult to recall the dream because it actually happened longer before than you think. This is why dreams are so hard to remember.

Dreams can also induce Deja Vu. The human mind contains all knowledge of the universe. We do not know about things until we learn or experience them though, so we cant just pull our knowledge out of thin air. As i said, when we sleep our mind goes into unrestricted thought, putting out random brainwaves. Every so often, it will send out brainwaves of things we have yet to experience, the future. This is what causes Deja Vu. People who have psychic abilities are the rare few people on earth who have learned to harness unrestricted thought at their own leisure.

And that is how your mind works in sleep. Good day.

Mah last memorable nightmare is fuckin ages old. Like 1998.
I was playing Rainbow Six for the first time, on PLaystation 1. I rented it. It was... meh. Not amazing, didnt get into it. But, unrestricted thought caused me to dream about that shit...

Anyway, in the dream I was chillin at home, and these guys blew my door in. Terrorists. (The kind we used to picture when we heard terrorist. Like, guys in Ski Masks, aviator sunglasses, bandannas, vests and cargo pants... not the 'middle eastern man' stereotype it became after 9/11)
Anyway they chased me and started shooting at me. And I ran. Up town.
But people couldnt see or hear me, like I didnt exist. No one, not even the cops.
I went past the liquor store (which for some reason had a playground across the street) and saw my parents inside. And I tried to get them to help me, but they just looked through me. So while running outside, one of the terrorists shot me in the back of my leg, and I fell. It hurt.
I tried to crawl to the playground. The guy came up behind me to execute me, and shot. No more ammo.
So he got ontop of me, took out his knife, and slowly started pushing it at me while I pushed his arms away. But he was winning.
It was seriously like that scene in Saving Private Ryan. Jus like it.
He slowly pushed down until it barely dug into my chest, then very slowly inched deeper into my chest and heart, until he started twisting the knife around.
And I died.

Then I woke up and almost cried o.o...
