I had a really realistic dream tonight. 'Cause I dreamt that Ii was sitting right where I am now, in my bed while using my laptop I slowly looked out the window then I saw a shadow in the hills he slowly pointed a gun towards me of course I had to fucking do something so I moved to the left so he wouldnt see me because of the curtains then I looked out again he had moved and now he was aiming at me again BOOM and then I woke up
My heart is beating really fast right now, and I can't calm it down at all.
So I guess, post your most realistic / creepiest nightmare.

I had a nightmare where I was outside of my house, but it was more or less just taking the roll of my house because it was some farm out in the middle of nowhere, but I just knew that it was suppossed to be my house. Anyways, it was really dark (near pitch blackness with the exception of a sliver of moonlight) and I looked at a window in the house where the light was on, and I saw the silhouette of a teenager, about my age, just looking at me. The light just went out and the wind picked up. I turned around and I saw something moving in the tall grass, something other than the wind, and it seemed like something was just crawling towards me at breakneck speed. Once it got close, it leapt up into the air and covered an inhuman amount of distance and tackled me in no time. I was looking at myself, but I was so much more animalistic and cold. Its hard to describe, but the eyes were dark and brooding, the brow furrowed in the most angry way, the mouth always closed and thin lipped. That was the scariest part, the predator version me never made a sound the whole time, all I could hear was the wind blowing, the tall grass ruffling and myself trying to breathe. Then everything went dark for a second and I woke up, frantically grasping at the air. That face is permanently burned into my mind, it scares me so much...

That's pretty damn creepy.
Sometimes when I dream I cannot remember any sounds, but other times I can. Sometimes I dream, sometimes I don't. Some say you just "dont remember the dream", but I say I didn't dream at all. But how can you even be sure of that? You can't.

Two nights ago I had one of the most vivid dreams of my. Life. I was running hard, the kind of running you do when you know something's chasing you, & I was on a cramped office staircase, just balling it. It was very cold. I broke out the door, onto what I think was a roof, still tearing off like I hoped to fly away. Skidding to a halt, I quickly glanced behind me. Nothing. I looked back over the edge, & back again. Six men stood adorned by crimson cloaks, in the space nothing had occupied. They produced large, mean looking scythes, & sprinted towards me, one by one I shirked away from certain impalement, before losing my footing & falling off what was a MUCH higher building than I had just scaled. While I fell, one of the men flew right onto me, his hood flying back, &, I SWEAR TO ALL GODS, he was me. Slightly like Tim's dream, but different. He has stubble, yellow cat eyes, & his mouth was empty. Not that he had no teeth or tongue, it was an abyss. He snarled at me, raising his scythe, & I woke up, bolting upright, (falling out of my bed in the process). Scariest shit ever. Extra creepy that Tim had a similar dream. Could it be, PSYCHO CONNECTION?!?!

You know the mutant dudes in I Am Legend? Predator me looked kind of like that, but no screaming, just resolute and absolute silence.
And yes, Trevor, we have the psycho connection.

Sometimes when I dream I cannot remember any sounds, but other times I can. Sometimes I dream, sometimes I don't. Some say you just "dont remember the dream", but I say I didn't dream at all. But how can you even be sure of that? You can't. Dreams occur when you enter REM. Sleep causes the body to go unconcious, temporarily blind, and reduces hearing capabilities by 60%. The mind goes into deep, unrestricted thought, with no cotnrol over the dreams, making them random and odd usually. Dreams only occur about once every 2 hours, and only last between 5-15 minutes. Every 2 or so hours, you have a new dream, and you forget the previous one. This is why it seems like you only sleep for a few minutes when you really do for like 8 hours. If you have ever been unconcious, you dont experience anything, so it feels like you closed your eyes and opened them again, no time in between. You are unconcious for about 7 1/2 of those 8 hours. Since dreams only occur every 2 or so hours and last about 10 minutes, if you dream from 7:00-7:10, go uncious until 8:30, and then wake up, it is very difficult to recall the dream because it actually happened longer before than you think. This is why dreams are so hard to remember. Dreams can also induce Deja Vu. The human mind contains all knowledge of the universe. We do not know about things until we learn or experience them though, so we cant just pull our knowledge out of thin air. As i said, when we sleep our mind goes into unrestricted thought, putting out random brainwaves. Every so often, it will send out brainwaves of things we have yet to experience, the future. This is what causes Deja Vu. People who have psychic abilities are the rare few people on earth who have learned to harness unrestricted thought at their own leisure. And that is how your mind works in sleep. Good day.

Well I just gained a bit of knowledge. Thanks, Mok. ^^ The most vivid dream I remember was about aliens. ._.; There were these aliens that crash landed in my neighbor's yard, and they were standing in the tree kinda waving for help. They ranged from about three feet tall to ten feet tall, and we just laughed at them. Then one day they weren't there, and we heard something skitter along the other side of the wooden fence and we heard a little girl scream. So then we had to get pop cans for some reason, so this kid Kyle and I went across the street to one of the six grade science teacher's houses, and we were hiding behind barrels, and when he left the room we made a mad dash for the pop cans. Then suddenly I remember we were in my neighbors side/back/front yard, filling up these water guns with this weird goop that made the aliens just kinda disintegrate, when we saw one by the chain-link fence. It was one that was about seven feet tall and the color of it was the color of something that glowed in the dark that was in the light, and it's skin was really thin and translucent, with a bit of wetness to it, so we ran after it, and it just ran back into her backyard. Then we were in my front yard when it was dark, and we were still filling up water guns, and we were filling up pop cans with it, when we saw one behind this bush in my front yard, and we ran for it, but it just jumped over the red fence and ran off into the darkness of my backyard, and that's all I remember.
Burn the witch!

I have deja vu ALL THE DAMN TIME.
Anyway, I had a nightmare where I was in my house at night. No lights on, blackness, couldn't see a thing. I think I started in my room, and I was going slowly downstairs. There was nobody but me in the house, and I started looking out the window. These zombie-like figures with red eyes were just pressing themselves against the windows. I walked into the media room and got an even closer look at them. I was just scared shitless. Then I woke up.
Yep, Mach was right, can't remember shit about our dreams.
