I was taking pictures of myself (Rare occasion, I was actually taking pictures to see if any facial hair was noticable. People keep telling me to start shaving, but I really don't think I need to. It's really hard to even notice at all.) when a wasp flew in through my window. I started hearing him hitting glass, but I was too distracted by the computer, so I turned to my left and what did I see? This. He's been in there for quite a while now. He's struggling to get out even as I type this. It's been about an hour since he got stuck in there.

Don't worry, Kent, you don't have to shave. I can't see much. And Joe, how about some new pics? Hell, start another thread!

Hey Mach, I'm planning on shelling out some money for an MPEG M14 since my friend and I are starting a small scale airsoft league, and I've been wondering whether or not I should go with a CYMA, UTG, AGM or whatever. I've done extensive research and thus far CYMA and UTG seem to be the top contenders, but I was wondering what your reccomendation might be. I do quite want to stick with an M14 though, sure it's big and heavy, but I'm not doing MOUT, I'm pretty stong and I want that increased accuracy for mid to long range engagements.

Dammit, I'm getting jealous again. I'm most likely too young for airsoft, there isn't ANYWHERE in Michigan to go to, and my dreams of owning one at my house when I would get older have been crushed. Damn private neighborhoods.

If you can get it, without a doubt, get the Tokyo Marui M14. Our airsmith (btw work coined by my team. Airsoft gunsmith. He works on everyones guns for internal upgrades and repairs) Steve has it as his primary. He put a lot of upgrades into it as well, but I have to say. It is the most fucking rediculas, accurate airsoft gun I have ever seen or shot. I'm telling you, exact pinpoint accuracy up to about 75 feet, before it starts dropping. He also suppressed it, and you 100% cant hear it, at all. Its a fucking killing machine. I'll try and get some footage of it at tomarrow's skirmish for you. Let me know how the airsoft legye turns out, and please let mek now if you need any help with anything else. I'm happy to help. I dunno who else i've told but I was recently given my own squad and made squad leader for one of the team's squads. Vortex 6 - Rapid Responce Squad Pretty much i'm the squad leader and team medic... it's a small emergency responce squad of me and 4 other members to quickly dispatch to men down or wherever we are needed. My radio callsign is Vortex 6-1... :3 And nick. Look online for Michigan based airsoft teams. Youd be surpised how many areas have a group. There is almost never a required age for teams. And for Ops and events, the rules usually are 13+ to play, 13-17 must wear full face/paintball mask, 18+ must wear full seal goggles.

I've looked for airsoft places here, and I've only found one. It's more of a tactical training center. If I can somehow find a place here it would be awesome, but I'm spending some money on a new guitar and a modification to it. Meh, maybe when I get older I'll try to look into it. But I DO have alot of money to myself at the moment.

Fact is, Jesse, though I could get a Marui, I just don't play enough to justify it. The Chinese clones are actually very well reviewed, main differences are the tightness of the barrel, overall quality of the gearbox (about the same output, just lower RoF and overall quality) and some parts that are metal on the Marui are plastic on the clones, like the heatshield. I've heard many similar results to that of your friends gun after putting a smaller tightbore in it, so I'm more wondering which MPEG brand I should go with.

Told ya, lol.
Also, if you are dead set on not getting a marui, than the CYMA... but not by much. Their not bad, it's just that there are so many other better M14s out there, especialyl the TM.

Yeah, I saw the JG G36C, too, but I'm looking for a longer gun. I think I'm gonna go with the CYMA, do you reccomend a bipod?

Only if you plan on making it into a DMR. If you are just going to be a regular infantry than you wont be chilling on the ground waiting for enemies. But if you were going DMR then... yeah, TM lol.
